my first real attempt at playin pool today. lookin at the above pic, its obvious that zr is the pro n the teacher today... with 2 terrible students - joyce with hidden talent n me with no talent. ok la, this is one of the not so glam shots... didnt manage to take the other super zai positions of his. gosh... u shd see how we play... i do a comparison below:-

zirong: [the pro]
sexy pose, looks very man and zai
position, aim, hits ball
swift, strong, accurate
designated ball gets whammed into the hole with an ear deafening clatter
10 mins taken to complete a game, thrashing his opponent (us)

joyce: [the rising pro]
no pose, look v slack, often upright position
not dat swift, yet accurate
designated ball gets knocked into the hole with a soft thud
tho quite often, the white ball manages to find its way into the hole too! haha...
20 mins taken to complete a game, almost drawing with opponent (me)

me: [the hopeless case]
pretend to pose, act zai (but cannot make it)
super slow, weak, inaccurate
takes lotsa luck for designated ball to get knocked into the hole
try to 'break' 3 times, n all 3 times the white ball goes right into the hole. how untimely accurate...
30 mins taken to complete a game, just losing to opponent (joyce)

yes... i noe im lousy... but i had loads of fun! had so much fun dat joyce n i went back to play another round of pool after zr left for home. haha! mad le... got so many yandaos there... esp the pink guy named shawn. apparently the grp of guys at the adjacent table were joyce's ex-sch mates. maybe thats the reason why i cant hit the ball properly... haha... i bet they were laughing at us. well, at least i saw shawn laughing... gee!

so.. anyone game for pool? jio me ok!!! u can have the cheap thrill of thrashing me... hehe... dis is a terribly addictive game... yet fun!
