went for finance seminar in biz. very enriching and enjoyable session. Mr Derek Chew, a financial advisor from fin-exis advisory & associates, Philip Securities, gave a v informative and inspiring talk. made me more certain of what i wanna do in the future. financial consulting. financial management. financial advisory. fund management. etcetcetc.
but this motivating effect of wanting to start investing now, start preparing for a financial career in the future... will die out as the days pass after the seminar. ha. i muz stop procastinating! someone spur me on ba!!!
played the Rich Dad Poor Dad cash flow board game... very fun! ha. learnt to make my own decisions, and fast too. tho its not very practical in real life, i learnt quite alot of stuff from it ba. feel like buying the board game. ha but money no enough... in the end, i tink i had the lowest cash in hand in the game. haha... gee, can i still dare to aim for a financial career? hehe...
had quite a good chat with zr on the bus to orchard. abt financial matters. seems like he noes alot abt dis field. learnt alot from him. makes me even more interested and inspired to learn more, equip myself with more financial knowledge. feel quite inadequate now. muz improve myself le.

i neva used to know these brand names.
until i got to noe george.
i neva stepped into such high class boutiques before.
until i got to noe george.
he's the branded goods fanatic. he knows every single brand name and what product they're good for. n best of all... he buys them.
im his fashion consultant. learning on the job. learning new brands every day. apparently, i can make this client of mine quite happy and satisfied with my choices? [ha tho i dun tink i hav much fashion sense.. ha]
helped him check out a WHOLE RANGE of ties today. from valentino, to dkny, to hermes, gucci, louis vuitton, trusschino (wateva it's spelled), pierre cardin, BLURberry, etcetcetc. can say that we had a tour round the whole range of boutiques in orchard. n for once, i actually walked into sucha high class boutique with an air of familarity and confidence. like a fish in water. ha. maybe cos i had a kao4 shan1 - george? ha. felt like some pro... walk into the shop, look at the range of ties, shakes head, leaves... haha mad le.
had a terrific time with him tho. he can alwiz crack me up with his wateva nonsense. a very special kinda old frenship. so amazing, from someone who used to hurl verbal abuses at me in jc, to someone who jus told me sth so sweet today - dat i actually look above average (but below super above average, of cos)... haha! was super thrilled! haha.. cos he has alwiz criticised my looks, but i now realise that was jus to suppress my ego... haha. its just so amusing yet refreshing to hear sth lidat from george. thanx! u really made my day~ esp with sucha sweet entry abt me on ur blog... *honoured*
