me. an avid fan of RAIN.
but a poor one.
so no show for me.
raindrops falling down my cheeks.
i used to laugh at those crazy fans who spend hundreds of dollars jus to watch their idols' concert. found it rather stupid. i mean... u can buy the cd for $20, listen to it anytime u want, however many times u desire, in the comfort of ur sofa or bed or jacuzzi, with a glass of wine in ur hands or plugged with ur ipod. instead of squeezing with the crowd who are screaming their lungs out, standing on the seats infront of u, blocking ur view. so wat do u see? a small figure on the stage performing, which is at times obscured by a big butt infront of u.
BUT...
now, i can finally put myself in their shoes.
some ppl have criticised us, fans, as dumb, and wasting our time n money. being suckers by donating money to their already-very-rich music production company. its not like rain (or any other superstar) will invite u to a cup of coffee, exchange hp numbers, and call u whenever he's free, mention u in his thank you speech at an award ceremony.. yada yada.
tho i would gladly love to hav coffee with him, and just have the name 'RAIN' in my hp, which is one call button away from him. n i would definitely die of happiness if he calls me or mentions me in his speech. yet... i dun need to have all dat. im still rather sane. the above mentioned will never happen and i neva once hoped it will. i jus wanna go watch his concert, to absorb in that wonderful atmosphere, seranaded by his voice, mesmerised by his dance steps. and just be part of it. i dun wanna read the fantastic reviews and start regretting not having gone for it. [ok tho i noe this is a confirm scenario on the 22nd jan mornin when i read the papers]
i love his songs. n his dance moves are superb (according to his MVs). lemme show u a mild version... cos dis song is more like a ballad. very in love with this song, 'MOVE ON' now...
guess sometimes we shouldnt jump in and start criticising others when they appear to behave in a way we do not condone. u neva noe which day u're gonna end up like the crazy ones whom u called 'dumb' some time ago. [well, im guilty of dat.. oops] or if u neva eva get 'fanatic' at all... too bad for u.
well, there must be a reason why the MINIMUM price of rain's tix is even more dan the maximum price of eason's chan/ jay chou.. etc's tix. haha.
should anyone wish to sponsor me a tix, i gladly welcome it. keke...
