once upon a time, there lived 2 little aunties named adaloo n meixinuu. one day, they decided to meet up to chat. esp since meixinuu missed adaloo lots lots. so, they arranged to meet at chinatown after horrible hyun flew their aeroplane. on her way to the mrt station, the sole of adaloo's sandals came off partially, and she had to 'piak' her way on... until she saw a rubberband near the dustbin, n decided to do an unglam thing - tie the sole to the sandals.

princess meixinuu was slightly late - as usual. n together, they climbed up a super super long flight of escalator steps as it was not functioning. with wobbly legs after the climb, they set off on their mission... the search for a cobbler. after 3 rejections, adaloo managed to find this superb cobbler who repaired her sandals. she promised to return to him should her sandals 'open flower' again.

after lunch, the 2 little aunties embarked on their next big adventure. to find the 'tea chapter' to drink tea... duh. however, they lost their way. so they toured the whole chinatown before finally arriving at their destination, and thanks to that, meixinuu got her desired sun tan.

'tea chapter' is sucha lovely place that the 2 little aunties fell in love with it. they found a quiet spot on the top level and enjoyed their afternoon...

... making tea...
(lovely tea set... n its so fun making the tea... got some procedure that we must follow.. like first rinsing the tea set with hot water. then make the tea, but cannot let it simmer for too long, else it'll be too concentrated. on our first attempt, we left it for 3mins, and it tasted so woody... moral of the story: dun order qi men red tea. then muz pour into a sniffing glass for smelling the fragrance, then pour into a drinking glass. meixinuu forgot and drunk from the sniffing glass, and adaloo fainted!)

... chatting...
(adaloo looks so scholarly here... actually she's lookin at the menu.. ha. got tea leaf eggs! but we were so engrossed doing the activities below that we gave that a miss.. sigh. kinda regret.)

... playing weiqi...
(revisit our rgs times where we used to play abit of weiqi... oh, plus reversi too... its been a long time since we played games like this. meixinuu feels like a kid once again)

... playing mastermind...
(looks like chess huh? but we dunno how to play chess, n adaloo wanted to play mastermind, so this is an improvised version.. a cheem-er edition of mastermind, with 5 colours n 4 chosen colour combinations, on a chess board)

adaloo n meixinuu spent 5 hours at the 'tea chapter' relaxing, chatting n playing... their mini n mild version of living a tai-tai life. shiok.
