updates
not much inspiration and mood to blog. dunno why... prob caught the lazy bug. yawn... however, knowing dat i got short-term memory, i had beta leave some footprints here before my memories die out on me.. keke... so, here im back, after a 2 days hiatus... heh.

was supposed to have a fun-filled, PACKED day with zr n joyce. but haiz... my doc's appt had to ruin things. right smack in the middle of the afternoon. n goodness, it took longer than usual. the usual scans which used to take half hour took one hour ++ dat day. argh. saw alot of trainee docs @ NUH too. i can jus imagine my medicine frens in their white doc's coat... doin their attachment at the hospitals. all so zai... n my mum, being a mum, complained about how ideal it would have been if i had taken up medicine. well, im not cut out to be a doctor. cant memorise stuff, cant apply knowledge, n me being so blur, sure make wrong diagnosis or leave a syringe in the patient's stomach? keke... simply, i dont have the guts too. so, too bad, my mum has sucha 不争气的daughter.
anyways, talkin abt being late. i thot i could be done by 3:30pm... but the whole thing dragged til 5:30pm ++... *faintz*... causing zr to wait for 2 hrs ++... til he almost dozed off while waitin for me. *oops*... really grateful and appreciative of his patience and niceness... yet very apologetic too. if i had to wait for someone for so long, i would have gone mad (like dat day with mr fang)... hehe... so, thankyou zr~
meeting him, was the start of a really great evening. everything seemed to turn out perfectly. so perfect that we thot we would surely strike toto... haha. went to nydc for dinner. yummy~ dunno why, but i've got a soft spot for nydc's roast chicken spaghetti. that rich, tomato taste is simply satisfying. i hav only tried 2 dishes in nydc. call that loyal to that dish, or plainly boring. hehe... but i realised i've got company! zr's a loyal supporter of 'posh spice'- oven baked pasta... with extra layer of chilli and cheese... mmmz...
this is one guy whom i can talk so comfortably and nonstop with... afterall, we r such good msn chatting partners. heh. he, being so knowledgeable, will tell me abt finance stuff... daily happenings and world news. the kinda news that i would be too lazy to carry on reading in the papers... but expressed in his words and perspective, it gives the same piece of news a different meaning. n best of all, i can remember it, and have a slight understanding of wat its about. very 神奇... think no one else is capable of that yet. maybe cos we're both interested in dis topic ba...

got a piece of good news i've been awaiting for 2 years... i can remove my braces next month! now that this happy news has been announced to me, im not too happy le. kinda missing my braces already... now i start getting paranoid and start feeling that my teeth still dun look that straight.. dat my 2 front teeth still not fully pushed back yet. n dis feeling gets stronger by the day.. oh no! i dowan to have my braces removed yet! aww.. im getting all emotional over a set of braces! then again... they're like a part of me already... hmm... with them on, i can jus tug and pull at any kinda tough meat without having to worry that my 2 front teeth will jutt out again. well, but with them gone, hopefully dis little ugly duckling can look less ugly... n can smile beta? ha... so, i shall have an extreme makeover next mth... watch out for the new me! haha...
met a long lost fren after dental... first got to know him 6 yrs ago at a weiqi competition held at SP. 6 yrs later, we finally meet again. seriously, if he didnt recog me from my blog photos, i wouldnt have recog him. was still askin him how i can identify him. oops. now, this guy has changed quite abit... well, i couldnt really rem fully how he looked like then... but at present, he looks really good. but he's so amusing... spent so long styling his hair dat he was late n ended up takin a cab jus to meet me... ha. majority of guys would jus let the gal wait.. no? [erhem, at least i noe one close fren of mine would lemme rot there.. heh.. no offence tho.. keke] half an hour into the 'meeting', he started sayin i look so cute [according to my defn, it means ugly but adorable... heh] ... n gosh, tink he said dat like almost 15 times that afternoon...(tho my mirror tells me otherwise.. hmm) n he added i was so so skinny... sigh.. common misconception. im fat at the places no one can see. heh.
chatted quite alot, afterall its 6 yrs worth of updates. heh. tink the cafe cartel ppl were eager to get rid of us... occupy that space for so long. heh. but yea, its really great to meet up with an old fren.. tho this old fren is actually quite 'new'.. hmm... oh well, u get my idea. n he's the first person to send me 15 sms at a go... ha.. my hp and i almost fainted. sweet guy tho... thanx. guess i really did make him feel happy just by talkin that day. which is good... thats wat frens are for... hope you continue being this happy alwiz~
