ooh... superb superb day! and the high feeling follows an exponential distribution as the hours pass... the following will be really long winded as im feeling really high now, so kindly bear with this old granny here... hoo hoo hoo...
first up on the itenary was... cashflow game @ paya lebar. rather, more like an opportunity to make new frens, meet experienced financial advisers, n ppl who are well equipped in finance knowledge. reached there quite early cos i took a much shorter time to drive there than expected. wat a suprise. ha. was anticipating zr to b already there... but... apparently he was too early and ended up taking a walk down geylang (fruitless walk for him since its only 2pm... ha!) felt so insecure being so alone that i dared not enter the meeting place (macs), which was packed with strangers. i finally realised, i have a phobia of crowds... ha. anyways... i didnt even noe how to identify those ppl who were supposed to meet me, cos i was expecting a huge turnout. felt even more alone n insecure... aaah... THEN, my saviour finally arrived. a knight in shining armour... keke... yesyes, zr finally completed his one hour walk... *relieved*
with the accompaniment of this charming knight, i finally found courage to face the hoards of ppl in macs. only to find that, there were only 6 ppl meeting today to play the game. diaoz... [5 guys 1 gal.. gee.] n both of us were the more inexperienced ones, having played the game only once prior to today. the rest have played it umpteen times and are 高手already. oh well, i had a good 师傅, alex, to guide me through and explain stuff to me tho, helping me to get out of the rat race, which i finally did. ha.. plus, my queries were answered by them all... esp since one of them, billy, is a financial adviser at fin-exis. fun game, esp when u're starting to get the hang of it. heh.
realised dat to go into this line, muz be very 精明like him, which is something i really lack. haiz. now i start to wonder... is this really wat i want? hmmz. or rather, am i capable of sth like this? hmmz... zr says im very 单纯... very gullible and no 居心, very easily manipulated by ppl. i'll believe everyone is truly good, when they may not necessarily be... hmm. being so 单纯，how to survive in this man-eat-man world? ha, i'll prob be the first to get gobbled up. *burpz*...
next up on the itenary... dinner! had a tough time deciding on wat to eat cos zr believes the gal shd decide... yet, im prob the most indecisive person in this world. heh. so we ended up walkin up and down the street and decided to do some 'eat-hopping'.
first stop: satay n teh tarik at haig rd hawker centre. [plus a mee goreng that neva came]
apparently the satay was supposed to be quite good. but there were so many stalls selling the same things! heh. oh, but i found the satay really nice actually, tho zr begged to differ. yum... tender chicken meat, since fussy me only eats chicken satay. n zr finds the chicken meat too tender. hmm... i have lousier teeth u see... anyways, he ordered mee goreng. but even after all the satay was already half digested, the mee goreng still refused to appear! we gave up and left. aiyz...
now, this is where my geylang tour began... with an experienced tour guide. [nownow, dun u start thinking crookedly. not that kinda experience. erhem. *winkz*] ok, make it a geylang gourmet tour then... wow, this place is a food haven. packed with people! bustling night life lor... its the first time im entering such prime land at nite with a guy. think my horizons broadened quite abit after this tour. ha... tho i muz admit, i did feel abit uncomfortable with so many middle-aged guys around. however, thats wat zr, my 守护天使 is for... to protect dis innocent, little gal. heh. anyways, back to food... every food stall seemed to have a great crowd of customers. gosh. n every kinda food they served looked delicious...*drools* too much food, too little time, so...
second stop: 豆浆油条 n 锅贴@ geylang

have always heard of this shop selling 豆浆油条... really famous, yet i hav never seen nor patronised it.. i wonder why. finally, i got a chance to satisfy my taste buds today. thanx to my wonderful guide. ooh... simply delicious, i tell you. i hav never felt so happy and eaten so much. ha. the cold 豆花水 on the warm 油条... oohlala~ simply perfect. indescribable feeling. indescribable taste... 'shiok ah'... tho the 锅贴wasnt dat great... nevertheless, i was truly satisfied. ooh... the thot of it is makin me drool again... *slurpz*

dashed plans due to my so-called curfew. hence, gonez are the following stopovers...
third stop: dim sum @ some shop opposite the 2nd stop
fourth stop: famous frog porridge somewhere nearby
haiz... nvm, shall continue this eating spree another day. realised dat we didnt eat much substantial food today, yet its still filling and satisfying. great company, great food.. wat more can i ask for? heh.
felt like a princess today... ha. cos had dinner with a real gentleman (or rather, someone tryin to gek super gentleman.. hehe... tho he passed with flying colours!) he automatically went to order food, pay up, etc. all i had to do was, sit and eat. in fact, wat striked me most, was when he bought drinks for me at long john silvers before the game. felt very pampered.. haha... [he has done this to many other gals le, so finally, its my turn today... heh. take queue number ma... my lucky star muz hav been shining today.. haha] n lotsa other very gentlemanly gestures... wow. -thank you-
as usual, we had lots to talk abt... dis time, he kept sayin im cute... [reminder: cute = ugly but adorable] tink he mentioned dat almost 15 times? heh... in fact, this is the first time zr said im cute... ha.. so amusing. honoured n thrilled tho. seems like there r lotsa 'first times' today... that accounts for my happiness today ba... ha. budden... at the end, he started imitating my voice.. prob the so-called 'act cute' voice... jus to drive home the point that the cute voice is very 恶心... hrmph!!! thanx huh...
this marks the end of the geylang gourmet tour... *sighz*. seems like all good things muz come to an end... ha dis is a super long entry.. more like my diary le... ha.
